Google Glass Releasing In Early 2014 – Some Updated Info

Google is going to release Google Glass for public in the early 2014. A year away from now. After Google finished distributing the Google Glass among the Developers, Celebrities and Google employees last week there are lots of features are being discovered about Google Glass.

Google Eric Schmidt said on an live interview with BBC Radio 4 that Google Glass is a year-ish away for public. So, we have to wait another year to see this powerful tech gadget in public. Do you think its worth waiting for?

Whatever Google is doing other people look very closely like action and reaction things. People has already started saying that Google Glass is invading their privacy because Glass users can take pictures or record HD video whatever comes in the view of its 5 MP camera. But Google said they are working on it to give people much pleasant experience without invading their privacy. Now we can wait for Google what kind of security measures they put inside Google Glass.

On my previous article about Google Glass I said that you can operate the Glass with voice commands. It is revealed now by developers that you can take picture just with your eye blink. The Google Glass is capable of understanding eye gestures. It can track your eye movement.

Google have became very strict about re-distribution, resale or any kind of ownership changing of Google Glass. If you want to sell it for profit Google will block the Glass. These release are for only development purposes. Google is collecting all usage data and statistics for bug fixing and development and make much more nicer experience for end user when they release in early 2014.

Another developer and Google Glass user found few hidden and interesting codes lying inside. He found you can put your fingers in the air to do pinch to zoom-in and zoom-out like you do on the touch screen of your smartphone. So, there is air gesture code included inside the Google Glass app. Another cool function is that the Glass allow a shared user to try it out and Google is not going to block your Glass for that.

I’m expecting Google is going to include more and more brilliant features and performance boosting in Google Glass. And I am we will get plenty more information about Google Glass time by time until final release of Google Glass for consumers.
