Samsung Galaxy Win makes its way to China

Samsung’s China website announced today Samsung Galaxy Win. This smartphone is featuring a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5mp camera (primary) 3mp secondary, 4.7″ display with Android 4.1 JellyBean.

This smartphone also has got WiFi 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 connectivity. Backed by a 2,000 mAh battery. You can expand the memory with a micro SD card. This is not going to be a high-end phone in the market of China.

Clearly this phone is for international users, only for China. Samsung, the electronics giant should be bringing some more Android phone in the market soon.

The phone has nice processor and other components. We will see how well it performs in the market.

Samsung introduced a new member of the Galaxy Core series this week, but don’t get your hopes up. Detailed on Samsung China’s website, the handset is called the Galaxy Core Max and is a relatively low-end affair.

When we say low-end, we mean it. The Core Max features a 4.8-inch 960 x 540 display — the same resolution as was found on the Droid Bionic. Additionally, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with a side of TouchWiz on 1 GB of RAM and a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor.

There’s not yet any sign of a price, or where the handset will be available, but I wouldn’t expect it to stray too far from Chinese shores.

Any thoughts on Samsung’s bid for the low-end?

Samsung Galaxy On7

Samsung Galaxy On7 is now official after it appears on the Samsung China website. The list also confirmed the existence of Galaxy On5. Let’s look at the device specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 features a 5.5-inch HD screen (1280 x 720 pixels) that works with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory that can also be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS from the factory with the latest version of TouchWiz on top.

The Galaxy On7 comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, which can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 172 grams. It is compatible with Dual SIM.

The Galaxy On7 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA +, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS / GLONASS as connectivity options. The phablet includes a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

Final Thoughts

The Samsung Galaxy On7 will be available in white and gold variants along with Samsung Galaxy Win. Nothing is known yet about the availability and price of the phablet. However, we can expect it to be released soon as they have been included on the official website.
