Customizations

You can install the Android app or iOS app in your phone to connect with the Pebble watch and manage it the way you like it. Plenty of customizations can be done with the Pebble watch from your phone. Get all your notifications, caller ID, messages, e-mails from Gmail or other IMAP services, Facebook notifications and plenty more. The watch is highly customizable and Pebble has an open source SDK (Standard Development Kit) where you can do more development with your watch, create new apps or service the way you want your phone or new watch faces. With a full charge you can continue using it for about 7 days without any charging.

Plenty of notifications you get on the screen of your watch and having a backlight you can use it at night without any problem. You can dismiss any notifications by shaking your wrist and easy to disable all your notifications. Cool, isn’t it? You also can manage notification settings from your phone,notifications you will receive in your watch’s black & white screen is:

Compatibility

The watch is compatible with any Android phone running Android 2.3+ and works best with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There is some problem connecting this watch with some Android smartphone by Samsung, Pebble is waiting for Samsung to fix this issue. The watch also works with iPhones (Minimum iPhone 3GS and iOS version 5+). While cycling you can strap your watch with the handle and it will show you plenty nice information by getting data form your phone.

Pebble watch will not work with any Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Symbian OS, Bada OS, WebOS; these operating systems are not compatible yet.

Conclusion

This is a very nice and cool gadget to have now to make your everyday life easy and comfortable. Planning to get one by end of next month as I can’t wait to get my hands on and customize this nice Pebble watch. I will post more info about this watch and maybe a video when I get it in hand.
