Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini officially unveiled by Samsung today, smaller and cheaper version of Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship device and Samsung’s best selling smartphone. Galaxy S4 Mini is smaller from the screen size as well as specs, coming with 4.3″ (inch) qHD Super AMOLED display and weights 107g only. The original Galaxy S4 have 5″ display. The display is similar to Samsung Galaxy SII. This Galaxy S4 mini is expected to be in market from July. Samsung announced it before their next big event. This Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean running handset is coming in two different flavours, Samsung I9190 Galaxy S IV mini and Samsung I9192 Galaxy S4 Mini with dual-SIM support.

As for the processor its coming with 1.7 GHz dual-core processor. I would say not very fast compared to Galaxy S4 is equipped with quad-core processors, but still ok for a mid range phone in the market with a nice size of screen display. Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has got some RAM love from Samsung and is coming with 1.5 GB RAM for the 3G model and 2 GB RAM for the 4G LTE model.

Though the specification says Galaxy S4 Mini is coming with 8 GB internal memory only around 5 GB is usable for user which is not really nice for the user. Samsung should have put 16 GB in this smartphone, but they didn’t do it. Not worry though, you still can put more 64 GB using the microSD slot.

Samsung is saying you can take nice picture with Galaxy S4 mini smartphones 8 MP back camera or record 1080p HD video and a front facing 1.9 MP HD camera. The camera is equipped with nice features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama. Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be available in White Frost and Black Mist color. Samsung has put a special feature ‘Sound&Shot’ in this phone. Enables you shoot a picture and record the surrounding sound and play them together. So you can keep your memories with that picture taken with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Basically Galaxy S4 Mini has got a lot same features from the Galaxy S4 phone.

Though Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini officially unveiled today, Samsung didn’t say anything about the price but it will be available from 5th July. Phoses4U will sell this phone nationwide in the UK and EE will provide 4G service along with Virgin with its 3G service.
