You can say this is rumour or just nothing, there can’t be an ‘iPhone 7’. Customers are waiting to get iPhone 5s now. But yes, After a long battle between Apple and Samsung with patent and design, they both agreed to do business together recently and signed few deals between them. Basically an iPhone is running on processors made by Samsung. Apple was trying to reduce dependency on Samsung for processors by making contract with different companies. Like before they were not happy with other suppliers so coming back to Samsung.
The Korea Economic Daily revealed that Samsung will supply mobile AP to Apple which will be 14nm FinFET technology and A9 chips. And yes, Samsung will make that AP (Application Processor) for the next-gen iPhone 7. This new iPhone from Apple will be coming in market from second half of 2015. Samsung is the best smartphone manufacturer in the world at the moment. They did sell a lot of phones and got more revenue than Apple’s iPhone sales.
The deal between the companies are for three years. So, iPhone lovers, now you have a hope to see the iPhone 6 before the next-gen iPhone 7. Will it be worth to waiting for the Apple smartphone? Will you be getting any?
It looks like this iPhone will be faster than the current devices with a nice chip on board. No other specs leaked neither any info about the device. Will this deal make the two companies happy? We still need to wait to get the answers.
