Sony just announced their smaller sized high-end Android smartphone in CES 2014 on 07th January 2014. The Xperia Z1 Compact is a smaller version of Sony Xperia Z1 smartphone. Though this phone comes in a smaller size of screen but has the full power of its flagship device. The phone is available in 4 different colours; black, white, lime & pink.

Today Sony UK site started taking pre-order of Sony Xperia Z1 Compact phone. They are offering Sony Smart Watch 2 for free with this latest Android smartphone. Price for the SW2 alone is about £150. Priced only £449 Sony will start delivering them before the end of February. Not far away and they just announced the phone 2 days ago. Good price for the phone and the gift you get.

Xperia Z1 Compact comes with a beautiful TRILUMINOS 720p HD 4.3″ (inch) screen with X-Reality engine for mobile. Now is the time for Full HD 1080p or Super HD 2160p or retina screen. Manufacturers are making less 720p screen and trying to get on with the latest Ultra HD 4K displays. But, I can’t say this is a bad screen though. The Z1 only comes with a Full HD 1080p display. The phone fits in your hand perfectly.

Yes, The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact phone waterproof and dust-resistant. The phone also comes with a very nice quality camera. There is a 20.7MP back camera installed at the back. With award winning G-Lens, Xmor RS for mobile, CMOS image sensor and “BIONZ for mobile” image processing engine. You can take underwater pictures as well and record Full HD video.

Amazon started taking pre-order of Sony Xperia Z1 Compact SIM free smartphone for £449. The phone is due to release on 14 of February and will be delivered for free. But, they are not offering Sony Smart Watch 2.
