Samsung listed Galaxy Beam 2 Android 4.2 smartphone in their Chinese website. This is the successor of Samsung Galaxy Beam and comes with stylish metallic design. Packed with a variety of projector applications. Currently the phone is available only in China and supports only micro-SIM cards.

Galaxy Beam 2 Specs

Samsung G3858 aka Galaxy Beam 2 is a mid-range phone with a 4.66″ TFT WVGA screen with 480 x 800 resolution. The built-in projector also comes with this resolution with background color correction. The phone supports only 2G/3G networks, no 4G LTE support. There is a 5MP camera at the back, no info about the front secondary camera yet.

Galaxy Beam 2 equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. There is no mention about the amount of RAM the phone has. The projector smartphone will be running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone also packed with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4GHz, GPS and USB 2.0 compatible.

The microSD slot supports upto 64GB cards and, there is no mention about the internal storage of Galaxy Beam 2. A 2,600 mAh battery providing the power and the whole smartphone weights only 165g.
