The registration for Google I/O 2014 supposed to start from today. But, Google pushed it back 1 week today by an announcement in Google+. This will run from 15 – 18 April, 2014.

Google promised the process will be easier this year and they extended the registration process with a total of 4 days. Mind it, that Google is not doing first come first serve. There will be a lottery and the lucky winners will get notified by email soon after the draw.

There are two types of ticket of Google I/O 2014. The General version costs $900 and Academic one costs $300. Not all the participants will be there. Some of them will be attending via live hangout. Google will be broadcasting live this year too, like the Google I/O 2013.
