Motorola, now a Lenovo owned company will release Moto G2 on September 10 for about €250. This will be the successor of Moto G, a very cheap and affordable Android smartphone. The price for Moto G2 is double than its earlier version. The phone will come with upgraded specs as well.
Moto G2 will sport a 5″ 720p display, 0.5″ bigger than Moto G. 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 305 GPU with OpenGL ES 3.0 support and 1 GB RAM. The phone will have 8 GB storage on-board and 2 cameras. The back camera will be 8 MP and a 2 MP front camera. Both of them are able to record 720p resolution video. Moto G2 will be running on latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Motorola has proved to make affordable Android phones with nice specs. They are even selling them globally with a wide range of audiences. There is no official press release or picture about Moto G2 yet. Some of the specs leaked out with benchmarking result. We need to wait one month to see the phone in real if all the rumours are true. GSM Arena stated the phone could be official at IFA, Berlin (5-10 Sep, 2014).
