Nokia N1 Android 5.0 Tablet Releasing Early 2015

Nokia joining Android tablet market with a 7.9″ (inch) Nokia N1 tablet. It will be running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and releasing early 2015 in China. Other countries will get it during the year after the release. This will be Nokia’s first Android tablet ever made. Recently Nokia sold their mobile division to Microsoft, who’ll release all the future phones with Windows OS.

Nokia N1 will come with a beautiful 7.9″ IPS LCD display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and ~328 ppi density. Also packed with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is no microSD slot but comes with 32 GB internal storage and 2 GB RAM. The tablet powered by 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 Quad-core 2.3 GHz application processor and PowerVR G6430 GPU. An 8.0 MP camera with autofocus equipped at the back of Nokia N1 tablet and a secondary 5.0 MP at the front for video calling and selfie shots.

The specification of Nokia N1 does not show it as a high-end device. The tablet has Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band WiFi with WiFi-Direct and DLNA, GPS, Micro USB 2.0. The battery is a 5,300 mAh battery to power up the device. Compared to existing tablet in the market, the battery looks a bit low. But it should be alright as Android 5.0 Lollipop has battery optimization and uses less battery.

This Nokia N1 7.9″ tablet’s design looks bit similar to iPad Mini. Nokia planning to release it with a price tag of $249. To know more about Nokia N1 visit this link http://n1.nokia.com/en.
