Web Browser for Gear VR Launched in Oculus Store

Samsung released a web browser called Internet for VR optimized for Gear VR. Gear VR is the virtual reality device which gives you 360-degree content and experience. The device was launched earlier. Consumers could only play and watch the amazing videos from local storage, YouTube and other HTML5 videos from the web. Also, they could play games and use bluetooth game controller, but didn’t have the access to the web with a browser. Today, Samsung launched a web browser in the Oculus Store, it is still in beta version. They will be updating it soon and over the time.

Through the Internet for VR, users can directly enjoy a variety of on-line content by browsing the web. It supports both 360-degree and 3D video streaming, as well as any HTML5 video from the web, allowing users to enjoy video content in a fully immersive environment.

If you are Gear VR owner and reading this, you should be feeling happy already. This takes the virtual reality experience to a whole new level. Another way, it gives you totally private browsing experience. There are Icognito Window in Google Chrome, Private Window in Mozilla Firefox, InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge but you couldn’t hide you screen, now you can.

Samsung made using the browser easy, the app features voice recognition along with on-screen keyboard. You can select or activate any menu just gazing at them. Integrated with your mobile browser, access the links and saved bookmarks.
