Difference Between Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 2017 Model

Samsung’s refreshed 2017 models of Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are pretty impressive spec phones. Since they introduced Galaxy A series phones back in 2014, Samsung have been upgrading the phones every year and making them better. These 2017 models comes with Always-on display which they introduced on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Also, the new Galaxy A5 & A3 are water resistant ~1.5 meters for 30 minutes, IP68 certified.  Now, both of them features fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C ports.

Speakers are on the side of the both devices and running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. These 2 devices shares some common specs while most of the specs are different. Price & Availability

At the moment the phones are available to pre-order only. Samsung themselves selling Galaxy A5 for £369 in the UK with expected delivery of 3rd February 2017. O2 UK selling Galaxy A5 for £349.99 with a least £10 top-up on PAYG and also available on contract. Also some other mobile networks and high-street retailers are taking pre-orders for these phones.
