Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-Inch and 8-Inch Announced – New Tablet from Samsung

Next-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is here with two different models as they announced on 3rd of June, 2013.  For the first time Samsung is releasing a 8 inch model of its Galaxy series tablet instead of 7 inch. And as usual a 10.1 inch but powered with Intel processor. This is the first tablet from Samsung with the processor from Intel rather than their own Exynos based processors.

Both of the tablets are coming in three different option to choose from. WiFi only, 3G and 4G LTE. For internal memory there is an option of 16 / 32 GB internal memory where 11.26 / 26.16 GB is available for the user. You can still put a microSD upto 64 GB on both of the new model of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – 8 Inch

The 8 inch is designed to handle by one hand. Samsung brought back the physical and optical buttons on the tablet. Comes with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM. 8 inch WXGA TFT (1280 x 800. 189 PPI resolution) display. Powered by Li-ion 4,450 mAh battery weights only 314g. Really a thin tablet 209.8 x 123.8 x 7.4 mm. Comes with built-in GPS, WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Channel Bonding , WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 support.

On the back of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch tablet there is a 5 MP camera with Full HD 1080p playback and 720 HD record ability. The secondary front camera is featuring a 1.3 MP for Skype and video calling using other apps. This tablet is coming with Samsung apps and services installed. Reading mode, Story Album, Group Play, S Translator, S Travel, Dual View, Pop up Video, WatchON, ChatON, Samsung Kies support and lot more. Preety nice features though and lots of people like Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX UI.

The 10 inch is the successor of its previous versions of tablets. With a lot upgrades and improved. Now featuring an Intel 1.6 GHz dual-core processor inside, for the first time. With all the upgrades and updates this tablet is coming with a 3 MP back camera, while the 8 inch version is coming with 5 MP camera.

Great for your entertainment at home for your family. You can connect it to your large screen monitor or TV using MHL cable. This tablet weights 510g the WiFi model, 3G and 4G model will vary. Powered by Li-ion 6,800 mAh battery but comes with only 1 GB of RAM which is less than the 8 inch variant.

Loaded with all the features as we can see in 8 inch version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and other specs are the same. Except the display, the display is 149 PPI 1280 x 800 10.1 inch WXGA TFT. The difference is in the PPI.

The pricing and released date is not confirmed yet.
