Google AdSense 2.0 now available for Android users. The update has started rolling out worldwide dated December 5, 2013 and only 3MB of size. This is a major update for Google AdSense app for Android since the first version. AdSense v2.0 for Android comes with improved UI, more metrics, detailed chart and graph.

Finally an AdSense app for Android with more usability and nice experience. You can get almost all the information about your AdSense account in your Android device now. Yesterday, I wrote about the updated and working AdSense Dashboard app and said some differences about Google AdSense app. Google’s app rocks now!

What’s New?

More metrics: page views, clicks, CPC, CTR, RPM
Detailed charts for different metrics, dimensions and time periods
Additional reports: countries, products and platforms
Improved user interface and layouts

The app home screen is still the same but with new layout. For the first time in Google AdSense 2.0 app you can view your page views for today, yesterday, this month, last month and lifetime. Needless to say with the up and down & % on the side. The same way you can view your Clicks, Page CTR, CPC, Page RPM. These are really cool information for those who like them and for those who want to analyse.

The side nav bar in Google AdSense 2.0 app updated with some more options. You can view your products profile. If you are using AdSense for Content or AdSense for Mobile Content or Youtube, you can see them here. And of course, you can view them by various dimension as stated above. The Nav bar consists Overview, Products, Custom Channels. URL Channels, Sites, Countries, Platforms, Ad Units.

You can view which platform you are getting most of your earnings from by Platforms. You can find which platform you are getting low earnings from and probably improve it.

For new AdSense publishers, the Help section is really useful if looking for help. You can get the Help menu by clicking the option dots on the top-right corner.

The Google AdSense 2.0 for Android app is here for you to download if you are looking for it. This update released as build version is 2.0.1202, which I got updated on my Nexus 5. If you have an Android device, either phone or tablet you can install the AdSense 2.0 app. But your device have to be running Android 4.0+. If you prefer to have the app from Play Store, here’s the link for that.
