Install Xperia Z Apps for Nexus 5 & Xloud, Beats, DSP Manager

Nexus 5 owners who likes Xperia apps there is a good news for you. Xperia Z apps for Nexus 5 is among us to flash. XDA Senior Member auras76 created the zip file for you to flash. Now you can give a new shiny look to your Nexus 5.

The Xperia apps are the same one as you would find them in Sony Xperia Z1 smartphone. Also comes with some Sony Xperia widgets. The thread also has zip file to mod your sound and enhance it. Xloud, Beats audio and DSP Manager is ready to flash, if you are a music lover.

Xperia Z apps for Nexus 5 is now version 4 and updated 13th December 2013. The latest update of this app pack comes with some bug fixes and app force close fixes. Sony did create some really cool apps for Xperia.

Emoji not working with the keyboard app. But I like Google Keyboard and you can get the installation guide here too.

Sound enhancements

As for sound or music enhancement you can flash Xloud, Beats, and DSP Manager. After flashing you will get richer experience with the sound of Nexus 5.

Resources

The MODs will work only with KitKat ROMs either stock or AOSP. If you are interested in flashing Xperia Z apps for Nexus 5, head over to XDA Thread. There are two files, you can flash them one after another. Do not forget to backup your content before you install these mods.

The installation is very easy. You need to flash the files through recovery. You need to have a rooted Nexus 5 and a custom recovery to apply these. After flashing reboot your Nexus 5 and enjoy.
