Google Play Store 4.4.22 update came quietly within Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 KitKat. This is just a small incremental update for the earlier Play Store 4.4.21. Not much change as it is a 0.0.01 update. I pulled the app from my Nexus 5 and the link to download is at the end of this post.
In Play Store 4.4.22 everything looks like its earlier app. Slide-out menu to get to your apps or to download new one. The apk file is only 5.84 MB (5984K) of size and named com.android.vending-80240022-v4.4.22.apk. If you notice anything extra, you can let us know in the comment. Perhaps this update has something to do with the Android 4.4 KitKat.
How to install Play Store 4.4.22?
Easy, just download the Play Store 4.4.22 apk from here in your android device. Generally, the files are downloaded in your SD card in Download folder. If you click on the notification message where it says the file download complete, the app will start installing automatically.
If you have cleared up the notification message, you can use your favourite file explorer and navigate to the folder where the apk was downloaded and install it from there. Or, still you can use apk installer app which will find the apk files from you device and you can install it easily.
