Thanks to Paul O’Brien at MoDaCo, he has got us covered by patching the APKs. So now you can install Facebook Home and run on your Android smartphone.
Officially Supported Device (Unsupported Country)
Make sure you have the latest Facebook app and Messenger app from Google Play Store. Then download this app from. Install it then go to your Facebook application settings and enable Facebook Home. Your Facebook Home will be up and running when you click on the Facebook Home from application menu.
Officially Unsupported Device + Unsupported Country
First of all uninstall any previous Facebook installation including Facebook Messenger. Then download these 3 patched files (Facebook main app, Messenger and Facebook Home). Install them in order as you are downloading the files. Start Facebook main app and sign in to your account, then go to settings menu and enable Facebook Home and there you are; your Facebook Home is now activated.
As for me I followed the advice from MoDaCo forum and installed everything. I didn’t even have to enable the Facebook Home from the settings menu, it was already activated. Its working perfectly in my Galaxy Nexus using Android 4.2.2
