The Taiwan based smartphone company HTC has announced a new smartphone today, HTC First with Facebook Home which you can call a social network device :)
This Android 4.1 (Facebook Home) based Facebook phone is powered by Qualcomm 8930AA, dual core 1.4 GHz processor and LPDDR2 1 GB RAM and 2000 mAh battery which is similar to Samsung Galaxy Win smartphone. 3g and super fast 4g network supported, Internal GPS and Digital compass.
Among sensors it has got Gyro sensor, Tri-axis Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor. And it has got a built-in dual-microphones and speaker with built-in amplifier IC.
Facebook has launched their Facebook Home with this smartphone which will work as a Launcher for Android. You can view live Facebook updates on your home screen of this phone and update your status easily and you can share your content with your friends, take pictures with a 5 MP camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capability and for Video chat there is another 1.6 MP front facing camera.
