Google official AdSense Android app is now on Google Play Store. Google released it yesterday. AdSense publishers now can use the official app. The design and look is really nice. It shows you the overview of your account with a lot of important information. Very nice and helpful app, thanks Google. But this Android app works only with smartphones. Play Store says not compatible with tablets. Hope Google will release a tablet version too or at lease make the tablets compatible with this app.
The AdSense Android app makes everything handy. Like the other update of Google apps this app already comes with left slide menu. Where you will find the Overview, Top Sites, Top URL Channels, Top Custom Channels & Top Ad Units tabs and your publisher ID at the bottom of the menu. Easy to operate useful Android app.
The Overview tab shows your todays estimated earnings. Yesterday’s earnings with last week’s same day’s earning with the percentage of increase or decrease. You get two more comparison with this month so far vs same day last month with the percentage and last month vs month before with percentage. That’s really some cool data you want to know. No need to filter your data from the web dashboard.
Top Sites shows the top domain names you are implementing AdSense and earning revenue. With the details of estimated revenue for Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, This Month, Last 30 Days & Last Month. You can change it from the drop-down menu at the top bar.
Top Ad Units tab is very cool tab where you actually can see how your ad units are performing. How much you have earned from them in period of time like the previous tab.
There is a notification icon near the top right corner, just left of the settings option icon. If you click on it, it’ll slide open a bar from the right side showing your notifications, if you have any. The settings button contains Refresh, Settings, Change Account, Send Feedback and Help. The only setting there is present at the moment is “Enable auto-refresh” checkbox and the “Auto-refresh interval time. The default time is set to 15 minutes, you can change it if you like.
The help section is very useful and full of all the information you need about AdSense and their policies. The AdSense Android App version is 1.0.702 and only 2.3 MB of size. Just to let you know that this app will work with smartphones running Android 4.0 or up.
I was using the AdSense Dashboard app and it gives some more additional info which is not present in the official app. Download the Google official AdSense Android app from Play Store from here if you haven’t done it yet. I think I will keep both of apps on my Nexus. Let us know if you like this app and if you do don’t forget to share it with your friends.
