BBM 1.0.0.70 for Android now available for download along with iOS. Users around the world have waited to get this app on their phone. The long wait is over. Blackberry at least released it after a month from its first release date. Today marks the day that Blackberry made the BBM cross-platform compatible.
Android and iPhone users now can use BBM on their smartphone. BBM will work on Android devices running 4.0 or up. Don’t expect the BBM to start working instantly on your device. Due to high demand Blackberry did not open the app for everyone. They are letting all the users to stay in a line.
After installing BBM 1.0.0.70 on your Android when start the app and you expect to see something amazing, you have to be disappointed to see “BBM is on its way!” Message. However, you can enter your e-mail address as quickly as possible and press “Next” to reserve your spot.
After you successfully submitted your e-mail you will be taken to the next screen where its showing “We’re holding your spot in line.” Now, time to wait for an email from Blackberry. When you get the email you can press “I got the mail“. Then, the app will start. Until you receive the email and you press “I got the mail” it will not go ahead anywhere.
Now this is something wired, you have the app but you can’t use it. But, should be OK, as Blackberry is sending the invites / or allowing the users in line.
I’ve included the BBM 1.0.0.70 for Android apk from my Galaxy Nexus, 12.67 MB of size. You can download the apk and install it. Or you can get the BBM app from Google Play Store. If you do not have Google Play access don’t worry, I got you covered with this BBM for Android apk.
