Google Chromecast streaming media player now available to order in the UK. It was actually available for a while now. But the price was nearly £50. Which is a lot more than the price they are selling it in the USA. It is only $35 there. Amazon UK now selling the Google Chromecast HDMI Dongle for nearly £35. The actual lowest price at the moment is £32.50 with free delivery. It can change anytime or different seller can offer the product in cheaper price in the future.
This is a really nice and small device to fit with your TV. You just need to plug the Chromecast HDMI dongle in an empty slot of your TVs HDMI port. An USB charger comes with the pack to power up the device. If you have any free USB port, you can power up the device from your TV. Chromecast HDMI media streaming player connects to your home WiFi and plays content on your TV screen.
You can control or play from your mobile, tablet or laptop. There are plenty of apps which are supported as well. You can stream new and exciting movies in your TV from your phone. Including Netflix there are few more streaming services available. In the future with development and update the Chromecast device will be able to do more. You can even stream your Google Chrome tabs in the TV too.
I bought one from Amazon USA when there was a system glitch few months ago. The glitch enabled international users to order Google Chromecast with global shipping option. Amazon fixed the glitch, but customers who finished their order got their item. Amazon acknowledged the problem and sent email to all the customers who bought them.
Chromecast app in Google Play store wasn’t available for UK and for international users apart from USA. Google then enabled it for the UK and international users. This is a very nice deal and can compete the cheap SKY Now TV box in the UK.
