Updating Android firmwares are always fun. There is a good news for Android update lovers. The next version Android 4.4.3 about to release. This has been rumored for long and already the change log leaked out. Today Twitter user @LlabTooFeR twitted KTU84F will be the final Android 4.4.3 build. The update will be available for Nexus and Google Play Edition devices.

We have been running Android 4.4.2 KitKat for a while now. Sprint already released a version of Android 4.4.3 for their customers. Officially Google didn’t release any factory images yet. They will be available soon after the release by next week.
The update has some bug fixes and improvements. Android 4.4.3 said to have a battery drain fix, camera and performance improvements. Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 7 2013, and Nexus 10, Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z Ultra GP, Motorola Moto X, Moto G, LG G Pad 8.3 might receive the Android 4.4.3 update as OTA (Over The Air) by next week.
Rooted and custom ROM users will not get the update. Even if you get the .zip update, it will not be usable. You need to wait for the developers to release Android 4.4.3 for the rooted version to flash through recovery.
