Google Play UK is now showing the ‘Nexus 4’ device coming soon. I was looking for any info about the Nexus 5 in the Play Store. No new news about it. But the device which Google sold out in Google Play store worldwide, Nexus 4 is re-listed as ‘Coming Soon’. Is it the LTE version coming out of the box?
End of August Google dropped the price of Nexus 4 to £159 for the 8 GB version and £199 for the 16 GB version. This helped Google to deplete the stock of current Nexus 4. Once they ran out of inventory, put a note on the device listing ‘Currently out of stock’. Today the listing got an update. You heard it, the status of Nexus 4 is now ‘Coming Soon’.
We have been patiently waiting to get the announcement of Nexus 5. But without any luck still waiting for the announcement. Lots of leaks and rumours. One of them is Google is planning to re-release the Nexus 4 with 4G (LTE) connectivity.
There is no news about the Android version it will come out with. Google Play listing is still saying Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Now the question appears in mind, is Google will keep the same price for the LTE version? Are you going to buy a Nexus 4 LTE version or you will choose to go for the Nexus 5 for a bit higher price?
