Galaxy Core Introduced by Samsung

Samsung introduced Galaxy Core handset today in their press release site. The Galaxy Core smartphone is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core application processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory and supports upto 64 GB via microSD slot. The display of Galaxy Core is 4.3″ (inch) WVGA TFT LCD screen. This is just a mid range phone Samsung want to introduce in the market.

The specification of Galaxy Core is nearly the same as Galaxy S II but bit Lower than Galaxy S II and the design looks like Samsung Galaxy S III. Galaxy Core coming in 2 colors, Blue & White  This phone supports dual SIM cards. But there is another version of this phone which consists 1 SIM card available in July 2 months after dual-SIM version released. [Read more…]

Google’s Next: Nexus 5 Is Now Confirmed By LG

Worlds third largest mobile phone manufacturer LG has confirmed that they are working on Nexus 5. Google CEO Larry Page was in South Korea to discuss about Nexus 5 and few other things which is coming later.

Facebook Released Q1 2013 Earning; Steady Growth Year-Over-Year

Facebook is the most popular social networking site at present. Facebook’s main earnings source is advertising as Facebook dose not manufacture mobile handset or had its own operating system but Facebook has got billions of monthly active users.

Facebook Released Q1 2013 Earning, the quarter just ended on 31st March 2013. Total $1.46 billion revenue in the first quarter of 2013 from last year’s same quarter’s $1.06 billion, this is 38% increase. Most of it or almost 30% which is about $375 million came from mobile advertising. This is a nice steady go for Facebook as it is increasing slowly and strong. Revenue from advertising was $1.25 billion which is 85% of total revenue and 43% increase from last year’s same quarter. [Read more…]

Google Glass Source Code Released And Already Hacked

Google Glass Source Code Released

Google has just released Google Glass kernel source code today which is Linux specific. This is only half of the code for Google Glass is opened for public / developers today. Android uses Linux kernel to run and which is operating under GPLv2 license and there is another part the Android codes which is licensed under Apache license. Google Glass Project team didn’t open the source code under Apache license yet. Developers still need to wait few more days for that.

The famous iPhone jailbreaker and founder of Cydia store Jay Freeman (saurik) has posted on twitter that he has jailbroken Google Glass what he bought from Google recently. The Glass is running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
