Pre-Order Nokia Lumia 1020 Now Available to UK Customers

UK customers can now pre-order Nokia Lumia 1020, the 41 Mega Pixel camera phone. People have been waiting to hear about the price and release date ever since the Lumia 1020 was announced. The phone itself a great Windows phone with a nice hardware specs.

Android KitKat: Version 4.4 of Android Announced, no KLP

Google officially announced the next version of its mobile OS, Android KitKat. Android 4.4 the successor of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It will be the latest and upcoming version of Android. We’ve been waiting to get a new update from Google, Android 5.0 codenamed Key Lime Pie (KLP). Instead of that Google has announced Android 4.4 with a name which is not a dessert. Google has changed their decision for the Android team’s favourite chocolate bar KitKat. The Google+ page of Android team tells us a bit why they have changed the name.

Microsoft Bought Nokia: Windows Phone Enters into Smartphone Competition Officially

Today Microsoft bought Nokia’s smartphone section for $7.2 billion including its patent portfolio. Nokia, once a leading mobile phone manufacturer started their business as a paper manufacturer in 1865 in Finland. They have a long history on mobile communication, device and support. In 1985 they created world’s first portable phone and on 1987 they launched world’s first hand-held phone.

Nexus 4 Price Drops in the UK £159 for 8GB Version & £199 for 16 GB

LG Nexus 4 price dropped down for UK customers. The 8GB and 16GB version of the 4th Nexus got a 20% off. The new cheaper price is now live on Google Play Store. Nexus 4 is the last Google Nexus smartphone until now from November 2012. The new price of LG Nexus 4 smartphone is £159 & £199 for the 8GB & 16GB version.

Microsoft Re-Released Windows YouTube App and Google Blocked it Again

We have previously posted that Microsoft and Google are working to together to release a new Windows YouTube app for mobile users. Well, they have worked hard to release for the Windows Mobile users. And Microsoft re-released the app recently and as usual Google didn’t like it and blocked the API access of the app. Still Google is saying Microsoft didn’t comply with the terms or rules.
