The phones have LPDDR4 3GB RAM but most of the time 2+ GB filled up with running apps. There is no official fix yet though. However, there is now a fix for the RAM issue unofficially. But, that requires your phone to be rooted. If you don’t have a rooted S6 / S6 Edge or you don’t want to root it, you need to wait for Samsung to release a firmware update addressing this issue.
